In a new norm, the JNU which has become a political center of promoting left ideology in the country. Where political parties and young aspiring politicians of the country give their presence for a bright future.

Deepika Padukone in order to promote her film and show solidarity with the students went to the JNU campus. The actress movie Chhapaak is going to be released this Friday. The actress has not been seen in earlier events like this before.

JNU campus has been in turmoil over the protest of being Anti CAA to the recent rise in fee. The campus has witnessed masked man attacking the campus students, to JNUSU President Aishe Ghosh, who was found leading a mob on Sunday, 5th January, was named in an FIR for vandalism by JNU administration.

Deepika Padukone, to show her solidarity with the students, chose to meet Aishe Ghosh and her friends while the ones who were the victims during the registration process were ignored. Anyway, it is secular to meet the people who act and work to break the normal culture of India.

It is unfortunate that people are calling her, “Women of Steel, only because she visited the JNU campus. What about the other lady who is present there.

Woman of Steel! #ISupportDeepika @IIFA @deepikapadukone

Deepika Padukone even got an endorsement from former JNU student turned politician, Kanhaiya Kumar,

More power to you @deepikapadukone and thank you for your solidarity and support. You might be abused or trolled today, but history will remember you for your courage and standing by the idea of India.

Asif Ghafoor from Pakistan also tweeted for the support of JNU and Deepika.

It is unclear whether it was just a PR event to promote the Movie Chhapaak, as the movie releases this Friday or Deepika has become the next Anurag Kashyap who is highly vocal against the present BJP government.
