New Delhi, Yogendra Yadav, Apr 22: Yogendra Yadav the founding member of Swaraj Abhiyan and Jai Kisan Andolan on Saturday put a googly at Delhi Chief Minister and the AAP superemo Arvind Kejriwal just a day before the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls.

Yogendra Yadav wrote an open letter, challenging the AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal and challenged him to win at least 50 percent of the seats in the MCD polls to remain eligible for being the CM of Delhi.

Yadav wrote to Kejriwal that "he betraying people’s trust in Delhi, I am compelled to say that due to your personal ego, self-obsession and lust for the chair, you have committed this crime.” Yadav even sought Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation “if the AAP fails to win 136 (50 per cent) seats” in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, MCD elections".

"AAP's internal survey predicts that your party is winning 218 seats in the MCD polls. I have one offer: if you get majority (137 seats) in all the three MCDs then I will concede that people of Delhi don't consider you as a cheat," Yadav wrote.

He further added in the letter: "If you lose the MCD polls within two years of winning 67 assembly seats out of 70, then it is the demand of the morality, you resign from the post of chief minister and your government should again seek the confidence of Delhi's voters on the principle of 'recall', which you mentioned two years back at Ramlila Maidan".

Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yadav accused Kejriwal of betraying the trust of Delhiites

He wrote, Dear Kejriwal, “I see that moral force weakening now-a-days. This is why I am communicating with you for the first time in two years and making you recall your promise made from the Ramlila Grounds,” Yogendra Yadav added. Slamming Kejriwal, Yogendra Yadav added there are “mounds of garbage all across Delhi.

The filthy water is stagnated. Air is stinky and dangerous. Everyone knows that the BJP has been ruling the MCD for past 10 years. Still, the BJP is seeking vote almost shamelessly in the MCD election. After much deliberation, I have concluded that you are personally responsible for this accident.”x
