Detailed Analysis: The Videos are real but it is edited, actually Ashok Gehlot said about the Jan Sangh. He said in this while addressing a press conference. If you see the below video at 2 min , 52 sec, Gehlot is clearly saying a incident of the Jan Sangh and of Jawaharlal lal Nehru.
According to Gehlot, “I remember, during childhood there was the Jan Sangh. When the Bhakra dam was built, Jan Sangh cadres used to preach that ‘Pandit Nehru has lost it. He is building a dam, on which he will construct a hydro power plant. If electricity is removed from water and the water goes to the farm, such water will have no energy and will be useless in the farm”-
Ashok Gehlot lamenting the same thing, Gehlot making a similar statement in December 2012. In the video text message below “The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot addressing a public meet at Surat in support of Congress for the forthcoming assembly elections. Shri Gehlot attacked the BJP government and said that they can never think about common people; they are just friendly to industrialists. Remembering a funny anecdote, Shri Gehlot said that these are the same people who once opposed the construction of a dam when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister, saying that extracting electricity from water deteriorates the quality of water and makes it unfit to be used for irrigation. ”
Some twitter user replied back in funny way regarding the orginal idea.
