Policemen across the country are taking hours-long shifts while helping the needy and the needless in the Corona crisis. However, a video of UP police is viral on social media, which got many people angry. According to the report, this 40-second video is from the Sarai Behlim area of Meerut, which was shot from the roof. In this, a group of police can be seen overturning the vegetable carts standing on their way. There is a drain on the side, some vegetables also go into it. People are saying that on one side people are not getting food and the police is doing this.
A user shared the video on twitter account stating, “The @meerutpolice , filmed here overturning vegetable carts in an area that is close to a hotspot in the city. Meerut is among UP’s worst-affected districts for #COVID19 , but does that justify the behavior on display? An inquiry has been ordered in this matter ...”

On this matter from NDTV, SP (City) Meerut Dr. Akhilesh Narayan said, "It is from an area close to a Covid-19 hotspot." It belongs to the Kotwali police station in the city. I have asked a senior police officer in the area to conduct a formal inquiry. Many aspects of this video have come to light and I have asked all these to be taken into consideration during interrogation. '
