News Claim: A picture going viral on social media is being claimed of a red coloured car with the BEST logo. There is also a person standing next to the car. Users are claiming that BEST has introduced a new electric taxi for the ease of passengers.

News Verification: In our investigation at Ayupp News we found that there is no such news. Infect the company clarified claiming this to be fake news.
We continued our search on social media and found the Twitter handle of Best Bus Transport @myBESTBus.

The press note in Marathi read, "A picture is being shared widely on social media platforms, where a man is seen standing near a car, saying it is the best electric taxi service.
This has created confusion among people including commuters, journalists and Mumbaikars. Therefore, we clarify that no such step is being taken. Nor do we want to introduce such service in future. Don't trust viral claims on social media platforms
