News Verification: In our investigation at Ayupp News we found that the picture going viral turned out to be fake, which has been edited and prepared. In the original photo, Taliban militants can be seen sitting in an armoured vehicle. The photo of the same vehicle is being edited and viral with the wrong claim stating that it is a cyber truck.

On doing a Google reverse image search of the viral image, we found a report published on the website of apnews.com on 17 August 2021, in which the image used matches the viral image.

In this picture, the Taliban can be seen sitting in a vehicle. According to the information given, this picture is taken outside Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan on 16 August 2021, where Taliban fighters laid siege to the airport.

Electric vehicle maker Tesla announced the launch of cyber trucks during an event in 2019.

According to a report by electrek.co, Tesla's pick up cyber truck was to be introduced in the market by the end of 2021, but now it will be available in the market by the end of 2022.

Looking at the pictures of the cyber truck in both the reports, it can be inferred that the picture of its wheel has been added to the viral picture with the help of editing. You can clearly see the difference in this editing in the collage below.

The user who shared the viral picture with a false claim is followed by about 20 people on Twitter. Significantly, after the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan, many such pictures have gone viral on social media in the past with misleading and false claims.
