Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal definitely knows the best things - one, how to put emotional videos messages on twitter, appeals to people for something and two, before any work is done for the people of Delhi, taking their opinion on twitter. Only god knows if this opinion really matters in the real world. However, this opinion does matters in real politics.

Amidst the claims of Arvind Kejriwal, at least two news stories have been made in the headlines, which are directly related to the coronavirus. There was a report from the Lok Nayak Hospital in Delhi that the mortuary there is filled to such an extent that the bodies have to be kept on the ground and on top of each other. It was found that the capacity of the hospital is only 45 bodies and 108 were reached. There were also reports that the funeral is not being done till five days after the deaths from COVID 19 and the bodies are being returned from Nigambodh Ghat, Punjabi Bagh, and other crematoriums. It is known from the media to report that the Delhi High Court has taken suo moto cognizance of this matter and sought an answer from the government.

Regarding the rising corona infection in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal had said, "Covid-19 cases are increasing in Delhi, we accept it, but there is nothing to worry ... I assure you that AAP's government is four steps ahead of the Coronavirus - we are fully prepared to deal with this epidemic. '

One case is of a senior citizen living in Greater Kailash, Delhi. This 67-year-old man has died due to Coronavirus. When difficulties started coming up for the investigation and treatment of the father, the helpline numbers were not getting any help, his daughter Amarpreet, who lives in Gurugram, also sought help from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal via Twitter - and in the last tweet also said that His father did not live in this world.

Talking to India Today, Amarpreet's husband Mandeep said - 'My father-in-law had a fever around 100 degrees on 26 May and on 29th we consulted online with a doctor who gave him medicines for 3 days. On the 31st, we went to Ganga Ram Hospital and after doing the x-ray, they said that there is a chest infection.

According to Mandeep, blood samples were also taken for Kovid Testing and it was advised that until the results are reached, one should not come to the hospital.

The report also came on June 1, but, Mandeep and Amarpreet approached every hospital from Max, Apollo, AIIMS, Safdarjung, wherever they were expected, but were returned. By the time treatment was somehow provided, it was too late.

A senior LNJP hospital official said, "According to the emergency department report, the person was examined Covid-19 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and the report was confirmed on June 1," reports the LNJP hospital official.

According to the report, hospital officials said that the patient was brought into an unconscious state and was declared dead after testing.

Statistics related to Delhi's corona are starting to scare

In Delhi, we try to understand the spread of coronavirus through a positive rate. The positivity rate is determined by the number of confirmed cases in every 100 tests. At present, it has been 6.41 percent in the whole country. Till recently it remained at 5 percent only. That is, in every 100 testings, 5 cases were found positive and now this number has been 6.41. Maharashtra also leads the country in positive rates - 18 percent. Among the top 5 corona affected states of the country, Delhi is currently ranked third after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. After Delhi, Gujarat is in the queue.

The thing that is most frightening in terms of positivity rate is its sudden doubling. The positivity rate in Delhi was recorded at 7 percent between 7-21 May, but the figures from May 19 to June 1 show that it has increased to 14 percent.

In Gujarat, the positivity rate has come down from 9 percent to 8 percent, while in Bihar it has increased from 5 to 9 percent. It is believed that due to the return of people from outside, the infection has increased in Bihar, then the rate of infection should have decreased automatically after the people return from Delhi - but it is it did not happen and the cases in Delhi is rising exponentially.
