TamilNadu Jallikattu row, Chennai: In order to pacify the ongoing protest in Tamil Nadu and rest of India and wherever in the World where the Tamil People reside. The Tamil Nadu government is thinking to come up its own ordinance 2017 in order to amend the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59 of 1960) and exempt Jallikattu from the list.

In the central government response against the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the central Environment Minister said that the center is thinking to ban the Messenger, the PETA itself for opposing Jallikattu. The minister said that PETA well funded NGO by foreign countries and PETA always comes up these issues. He firther added we will see as to what can be done."

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kahagaham (AIADMK) as well in demand to ban PETA with its general secretary Sasikala Natrajan leading the voice.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagham (DMK), dubbed PETA group as anti-national and said it's working against Tamil culture. DMK has sought a ban on the NGO which has been opposing the bull-taming festival Jallikattu.

PETA letter to centre government, Tamil Nadu urges Ban PETA

The Ordinance allowing Jallikattu has received the Governors today to conduct the event.

Further the Tamil Nadu Legislative assemble is summoned to meet on Coming Monday, Jan 23rd in order to bring in the ordinance to exempt the Jallikattu. The center, the Governor of the state and the State Government all are in sync and clear of bringing a change so that the Jallikattu row doesn’t happens from next time and as well the Animal is prevented from any cruelty.

The traditional bull-taming sport, Jallikattu got more intensified ever since January 17 this year, situation got more highlight since lakhs of college Students, IT Professional mostly connected with the social media and many others staged protest at Chennai's Marina beach.
