UP CM Yogi Adityanath bowed down on the martyrdom of Col Ashutosh Sharma, who was martyred in the Handwara encounter in Jammu and Kashmir. He also announced 50 lakh rupees to his family and a job to one person.
In the encounter at Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir, five Army personnel, including the commanding officer of 21 Army Rifles, Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, and Major Anuj Sood were killed. Two terrorists have also been killed in this operation. Saluting the martyrdom of Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, a resident of Bulandshahr, UP, CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh to his family and a job to a family member.

The UP government stands with the martyr's family all the time. Colonel Ashutosh Sharma, who lives in Parwana village of UP's Bulandshahar, died in an encounter with terrorists in a village of Handwara area of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. The entire village and surrounding areas are mourning as soon as the news of the colonel's martyrdom was received. People have saluted his martyrdom.
