UP Elections 2017: The feud in the Samajwadi Party between the father and the son is not going to end sooner. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s statement that his son was instigated by Shivpal Yadav has turned him angry over the media people, when they asked him in an event. He clearly mentioned that “why people keep him asking such question which has no reality and it doesn’t have any relevance”. He clearly said that as a party worker his visit to Election Commission was to put the side of Akhilesh Yadav. He wants the EC to soon pass the verdict as election is knocking the door.

In today’s event Mulayam Singh Yadav met the election commission and clearly said that the meeting held by Akhilesh Yadav is unconstitutional as both Akhilesh and Ramgopal were banned from the party and  he is still the national President. He has the right to call the party meeting and not anybody else. Mulayam Singh went to EC with Amar Singh and Shivpal Yadav. He has said that the affidavit submitted by Akhilesh Yadav group is false and has no relevance. He said to validate the evidence of support by the other group.

The ongoing feud has mostly down sided the morale of the party workers as they are in dilemma. They have no clear cut answer when the public asks him for which side to vote. Last few days have not been easy for the party workers as they feel uncomfortable answering to the UP voters.  They have decided till the verdict comes over the symbol, they are not going on for election campaign.

Earlier EC has already announced the date of election in UP which is to start from February 11 in 7 phases. Nominations will start from January 17 which is just 1 week away. Both of the sides want EC to announce the verdict over the cycle symbol so that the party workers start preparing for the real battle.
