New Delhi, February 14: In a major blow to AIADMK General Secretary today VK Sasikala was convicted by the Supreme Court of India for her involvement in disproportionate assets case which marks an end to her possible career as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister as of now. This has changed the entre scenario in Tamil Nadu.
The Supreme Court (SC) dismissed the High Court judgement and implemented the trial court verdict on this. Sasikala the close friend of CM Jayalalithaa has to still carry the judgement even when Jayalalithaa is no more in this world. Sasikala has to even provide a compensation of Rs 10 crores.
Sasikala who was a strong contender for the Chief Ministerial post, will not be able to fight elections for another ten years.
