ICC Head of Competition Chris Tetley said, "We know that Oman and the UAE have a large number of people from all the 16 countries participating in the tournament, so we are pleased to be able to provide more tickets for all matches." "We have worked closely with our hosts, venues and our partners to ensure that as many fans as possible can be a part of this wonderful tournament," he added.
“The expatriate community in the region means that each team can enjoy domestic support and with ticket prices starting at just 10 Omani Riyals(approximately Rs 2000) and 30 Emirati Dirhams(Rs 616), we hope to encourage our teams,” Tetley said. The stands will be filled with passionate cricket fans.
Ticket sales started last week with thousands of tickets sold out in record time. Tickets for matches are now available at all destinations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Muscat.
