This Wednesday, sept 7th 2016, Apple launched its updated version of the famous phone series,  iPhone 7 and Apple watch 2. It can majorly  be seen as a updates from the last version. Everything has been updated from previous version, alongwith some new features.

It comes with a faster processor, an updated home button and will come with water and dust protection.  Similar to what Apple has done with a trackpad in a slimmer MacBook model last year, the company says the iPhone 7 home button is now force sensitive, so responses can differ based on how hard you press it.
Camera: As always has been the tradition to improve the quality of the camera, now as well, the camera has been the main focus of the iPhone. In this new phone camera is still seen as the best feature where is can score the most points.
Now the camera has 4, as against 2 shades of color to match the light ambient. High end photographers can get raw format images, which can be further used for more and better editing, by pro photographers to the professionals.
lenses of the camera to boost zoom capabilities upto 10 times. It has 12 Megapixel photo taking capabilities.

Storage and Pricing:
iPhone 7 will cost the same as iPhone 6s, starting at $649 (US price) and comes in three variants: 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB (16 GB variant no more).

iPhone 7 Plus will start at $769.The price is similar to iPhone 6s.

Normally the starting storing in any phone of iPhone is 16 GB, but now they have doubled the storage space, starting from 32 gigabytes, rather than 16 gigabytes before. Apple is doubling storage in higher-priced models, too - to 128 and 256 gigabytes.

Shipping to India; the new phones will ship September 16 (arrive in India on October 7), with orders to start this Friday.

Apple Watch Series 2
Apple also introduced a "swim-proof" watch, the Apple Watch Series 2. The new watch has better built-in GPS, a brighter display and faster processor than the previous Apple Watch. There's also new ceramic watch-face.

The price starts at $370 (Rs. 32,900 in India). The original model will get a faster processor price cut to $270, down from $300. Watch Series 2' will be water resistant to 50 meters and the speaker will literally repel the water like a piston.

The updates are coming September 16 (on October 7 in India).

Existing watches can get new operating software on September 13.

In addition, there's a new Apple Watch Nike +, a Nike-branded Apple Watch in four colors that's designed for runners. It is also priced at $369 and is available late October. Battery life, which has been a weak spot of the watch, was not mentioned.

The device will have a dual-core processor with GPU that is up to two times faster.

The second generation watch will have the brightest display ever (1,000 nits so that users can see it in full sunlight) and runs watchOS 3.

Jeff Williams, Apple's Chief Operating Officer says  "If you've used a GPS Watch before, you know that sometimes it can take a while to connect to satellites. With Apple Watch, you just hit start and it's ready"
